Bambi II's article being in crappy shape is not an excuse. Obviously you don't participate in the film project, or you know that closer to 400 is prefered, particularly for a film only slightly over an hour long.Colonel Warden ( talk) 07:47, 11 August 2008 (UTC) Reply Since the tag is incoherent, factually incorrect, disputed and does not enhance the reader's experience it should go. The disputed omnibus tag also complains that the style is too in-universe and so we have contradictory complaints. As for the inclusion of critical commentary upon the specific moral lessons provided by Thumper, this seems convenient. When one allows for the inclusion of critical commentary, our article here is comfortably within these guidelines. The article Bambi has 417 words while Bambi II has 1128. WP:MOSFILM states Plot summaries should be between 400 and 700 words and should not exceed 900 words unless there is a specific reason, such as a very complicated plot. The entire film does not get less than 400 words.See any FA character article for the proper way to format it. If the entire film gets less than 400 words, why should an article about a single character get more? Commentary on moral lessons should be in another section, not the plot summary. The basis for the metric is the over all WP:MOSFILM.

Colonel Warden ( talk) 01:43, 11 August 2008 (UTC) Reply Myself, I prefer the sound policy that Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy and so do not agree that we should proceed in this pettifogging way. And, if you are going count each individual word, please indicate the basis for your metric. This content is derived from numerous sources which comment on this and this material is not plot summary but critical analysis.

You don't get to remove tags just because you don't like their "appearance" or think they spoil the article. That's more plot summary than the individual films as a WHOLE is supposed to have. It has too much plot - two sections worth that take up the more than half the article and spans 703 words. Colonel Warden ( talk) 07:25, 10 August 2008 (UTC) Reply Stop removing the tags. Improvements to the article are best discussed separately on this talk page, where they will not disturb the reader. I will continue to remove the tag until these are provided as it spoils the appearance of the article as it is too intrusive and hectoring. In any case, specifics are required rather than vague assertions. We have a nag tag unsupported by discussion here. The result of the discussion was not moved. On 29 June 2022, it was proposed that this article be moved to Thumper (character).
